Memory is shared with the GPU, and the 8GB eMMC means the board boots and runs without a card fitted at all. A TF card slot sits alongside it for extra storage or a second system image.

A full-speed USB 3.0 host port for storage or a capture device, with two USB 2.0 hosts for a keyboard, mouse or peripherals. Power comes in over Type-C at 5V / 3A.

Onboard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0

The onboard module supports IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.0, so the board is on the network the moment it boots — no dongle, no USB port used up.

About the board

Orange Pi 3 LTS is built on the Allwinner H6, a quad-core 64-bit Cortex-A53 running at 1.8GHz, paired with a Mali T720 multi-core GPU capable of more than 70 GFLOPS and supporting OpenGL ES 3.1 down to 1.1, DirectX 11 FL9_3 and ASTC texture compression.

It carries 2GB of LPDDR3 shared with the GPU and 8GB of onboard eMMC flash, alongside a TF card slot. Connectivity covers Gigabit Ethernet through a YT8531C, onboard Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.0, one USB 3.0 host and two USB 2.0 hosts, HDMI 2.0a and TV CVBS video out, a 3.5mm audio jack, infrared receive and a 26-pin header carrying I2C, SPI, UART and GPIO.

The LTS in the name is the point of the board: it is built for long-term supply, which makes it a sensible choice for a product design or a teaching lab that needs the same hardware available over several years. Android 9.0, Ubuntu and Debian are all supported. We hold it in local stock in Pakistan with warranty and setup support.
