A 12-core 64-bit processor sits alongside an NPU. The multi-core design handles multitasking efficiently, taking complex compute and everyday desktop applications in its stride.

Scheduling the CPU, GPU and NPU together reaches a combined 45 TOPS, which lifts both AI development and deployment. It runs a wide range of mainstream models and covers generative AI on the edge — chat assistants, AI-assisted programming and similar.

Exceptional graphics processing

The integrated graphics processor supports 8K video decoding and hardware-accelerated ray tracing, so graphics-intensive work — games, industrial design software, desktop 3D — performs well rather than merely running.

Rich memory and storage expansion

128-bit LPDDR5 at 16GB, 32GB or 64GB, with two M.2 KEY-M 2280 slots for NVMe SSDs alongside SPI flash and a TF slot — fast reads and writes with plenty of capacity behind them.

Rich interface design

Display output over HDMI, DisplayPort, Type-C DP and eDP, with 4K at 120Hz available on DP. Add dual 5G Ethernet, an M.2 KEY-E slot for a Wi-Fi module and several USB ports, and most peripherals connect without an adapter.

Excellent software compatibility

Debian, Ubuntu, Android, Windows and ROS2 are all supported, with full technical documentation behind them. That breadth is what lets one board serve a robotics group, a desktop workstation and an Android appliance.

About the board

Orange Pi 6 Plus is built on the CIX CD8180 / CD8160 SoC, with a 12-core 64-bit processor plus an NPU and an integrated graphics processor. It carries 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of LPDDR5 and provides two M.2 KEY-M 2280 slots for NVMe SSDs, along with SPI flash and a TF slot, so fast reads and writes and high-capacity storage are both covered. Its 45 TOPS of combined compute (CPU + NPU + GPU) supports a range of on-device large-model applications, and the graphics engine and acceleration algorithms carry desktop 3D work such as games and industrial design software.

The interface set is broad: USB 3.0 and USB 2.0, HDMI, dual 5G Ethernet, MIPI camera inputs, a TF slot, Type-C power supply, a 40-pin expansion connector and a fan connector — enough to attach most peripherals directly.

With that much compute behind it, the board suits smart offices, edge computing, smart security, industrial automation control, smart retail, home servers, AI development workstations and high-performance personal computing.

As an open-source board it gives developers room to work — freedom to go deep, explore and build. We hold it in local stock in Pakistan with warranty and setup support.
